- Received Rotary Coimbatore Award in 1992.
- Received Voluntary Action Award offered by Calcutta Junior Chamber of Commerce in 1991.
- Received ‘Jal-Modi’ Award, awarded by Rotary Club of Calcutta at a special function on June 2, 1994.
- At the International Festival of Blood Donor Motivation Film held at Sofia, Bulgaria between September 23 and 27, 1996, the Association was awarded the Second Prize for its film on Voluntary Blood Donation.
- At the First Asia-Pacific Conference on Blood Donor Recruitment and Retention held in Bangkok, Thailand between November 24 and 27, 1997, the poster Mother and Son carrying the message – “My son is back home because you donated blood” won the first Prize in Motivation Group of poster contest.
- The Association was the recipient of ‘Meghnad Puraskar’ in 1999, which is awarded to Voluntary Organisations engaged in Science Popularisation in the state of West Bengal by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of West Bengal.
- Calcutta University National Integration Council as part of their celebration of 50 years of Indian Constitution, honoured the Association by awarding a medal and a certificate for rendering invaluable services to the community on January 26, 1999.
- The quarterly English Bulletin “Gift of Blood” was adjudged the best House Journal from amongst non-profit making organisations by Public Relations Voice — Journal of Indian Public Relations Society in 1999.
- Recipient of Nehru Children Museum’s award for Community Service in February 2003.
- Received Samatat Award for Social Work in January 2004.
- Received the Award of Indian Association of Cancer Research, in January 2004
- Received the Award of Central Calcutta Sporting Club, in April 2004.
- Received the Award of Tamluk Voluntary Blood Donors Association for 25 years’ Service, in March 2007
- Received the Award of Bishnupur Swechha Raktadata Samity for pioneering work for 25 years in the field of Voluntary Blood Donation, in March 2007
- Received ISBTI Award in 2013.
- Received Vivekananda Smarak Samman in 2014.
- Received Vivekananda Smarak Samman of Birati Global Foundation in 2015.
- Received Outstanding Achievement Award for Excellence in Social / Public Service of Global Achiever Foundation in 2016.
- Received Life Time Achievement Award of Dharmanagar Blood Donors Association, Tripura in 2017.
- Received Sammanana Award of Burnpur Social Welfare Committee (Voluntary Blood Donors) on May 28, 2019 for the effective and fruitful contribution in the blood donation movement.
- Received Kohinoor Mollah – Israfil Molla Memorial Award of Mouzpur Dishari, South 24 Parganas on December 26, 2021 for dedicated service to the cause of Voluntary Blood Donation for 41 years.
- Received Samaj Kalyan Samman 2022 from Indira Gandhi Janma Jayanti Udjapan Committee, Belgharia on November 19, 2022.
