To achieve self-sufficiency in blood for the entire state of West Bengal through genuine, non-remunerated, altruistic, regular voluntary blood donation in outdoor blood donation camps by inducing common people through systematic, scientific and sustained education based motivation techniques and thus to create a culture of regular voluntary blood donation and to form a healthy blood donor base in the community and to keep all the blood bank shelves full throughout the year in order to ensure safe blood transfusion and availability of good quality blood in right quantity at the right time for all the patients of the state requiring blood for transfusion.
